8. In the stories, we tend to get efforts to over-dramatize climate and its timelines, leading to rehashed, stale post-apocalyptic tropes.

The apocalyptic is in its very heart a refusal to see past the end of an old worldview, into the new possibilities of the actual world.

15. Boxing those stories into a genre already defined largely by apocalyptic stories is not helpful. We don't need the ''climate ficton'' genre being championed by Amy Brady, among others. Let's dump it!
